Our eco friendly Bush Retreat offer visitors exclusive accomodation and package tours with specialty products available only to Kelk Creek. Stay in our eco friendly bush retreat accommodation set amidst native Australian bushland. Soak up the serenity and let the blanket of stars embrace you. Tune into the unique sounds of the bush for a peaceful and serene experience. Overnight accomodation also available. Three or Four day accommodation packages include all meals (some are self cook meal packs), and tours. Available Tuesday to Thursday or Thursday to Sunday. All meals served with native herbs and spices. The following is a sample itinerary and is subject to change due to weather, tides or cultural considerations:
Day 1: 14.00 - Arrival and check in. Welcome talk and information given by your hosts. 15.00 – 18.00 Free time to soak up the tranquillity, get settled into your accommodation, and relax. Visit the interpretive display area, have a drink by the lily pond, read one of our many reference books or just relax and watch the wildlife all around. 18.00 – Traditional style dinner with your hosts, discussion about local culture, history and contemporary life. 20.00 – Stargazing and star identification with Steve – be amazed by the quantity and brightness of the stars	Day 2: 7.00 – 9.00 Self catering breakfast left in your room for you to enjoy when ready. 10.00- 12.30 Guided Bush Walk, including morning tea 12.30 – 14.30 Lunch – picnic lunch supplied out by the lily pond or in the gazebo 14:30 – 18:00 Free time to relax or join an optional tour 18:00 – 20:00 Self cook BBQ (BBQ pack including meat, salads, dressings etc all provided)
Day 3: 7.00 – 9.00 Self catering breakfast left in your room for you to enjoy when ready. *(10.00 Check out for those on a 3 day package)* 10.00 – 12.30 Traditional Crafts with Deborah OR Handline fishing with Steve (catch and release – with one fish kept for dinner if suitable) 12.30 – 14.30 Lunch – picnic lunch supplied out by the lily pond or in the gazebo 14:30 – 18:00 Free time to relax or join an optional tour 18.00 – 20:00 Bardi Style cooking on the coals (fish) and campfire	Day 4: (four day packages only): 7.00 – 9.00 Self catering breakfast left in your room for you to enjoy when ready. 10.00 Check out for those on a 4 day package For optional tours, see our “Things to do” page. Optional tour add ons (extra costs apply) can be arranged before, during or after your stay. Some optional tours require you to have your own transport, others will arrange to pick you up.
