Rest Area

Don't head up to Cape Leveque or Lombadina with out stopping in at Kelk Creek to enjoy an authentic Bush Tea. Kelk Creek is just three kilometres off the Cape Leveque Rd , between Middle Lagoon and Lombadina.

The rest area offers picturesque surrounds, a shady gazebo, scenic garden area, lush vegetation, well kept grounds, beautiful lily pond, and clean serviced ablution facilities.

Refreshments including billy tea, homemade damper and cold water can be arranged on request.

For those that have a little more time, we can provide a one hour, one and a half hour or two hour in depth bush tucker walk with an expert guide. This will give you an opportunity to gain a greater insight into local bush tucker, ancient medicines, traditional Aboriginal culture, community life, the history of the area and take a tour of the old stock yards.

This informative tour is offered by Deborah Sibosado whose immense traditional knowledge is complimented by formal education in Conservation and Land Management.
